Butterbeer is the most delicious treat you can get in the Wizarding World at the Universal Orlando theme parks. It is some sort of cream soda/butterscotch/shortbread combo. And it is my favorite thing to get for any day at Universal. Any Harry Potter fan will be thrilled to try this tasty drink (and more!)
At both the Universal Studios park and Islands of Adventure they offer multiple Butterbeer flavored items and each one is so yummy! There are six in total! Below I have them all listed with an explanation of what they are and where exactly you can get them!
Cold Butterbeer-is a soda like carbonated drink with a frothy sweet topping. For a Harry Potter fan this is a must try! It’s the closest to what is mentioned in the books and seriously makes me feel like I’m living in the Wizarding World

Hot Butterbeer-has been described as being something like a butterbeer flavored hot chocolate and it’s so good. This drink is sold year round and is nice on those (very few) chilly days. *this is one of my favorites. So my #1 tip if you are visiting in the hot months is to try ordering it with one of your meals and enjoy drinking it while sitting in the air conditioning!

Frozen Butterbeer-is a slushy version of the iconic cold butterbeer. This is such a lifesaver on those scorching Florida days! And also comes with the frothy cream topping.

Butterbeer Ice Cream-is just as its says, butterbeer flavored ice cream. Another amazing option to have when you are melting in the Florida sun.

Butterbeer Potted Cream-has a texture similar to pudding, but not quite as thick. Sort of like a creamy custard. This treat is very sweet and is a nice little dessert when you need a little pick me up.

Butterbeer is truthfully just so dang good in all of its forms! If you get a chance, I highly recommend trying them all, but definitely all the drink versions. They are each slightly different and therefore amazing for different reasons.
