My September reset, recapping the previous month, going over my new goals, affirmation, and focus for this month. I also include my September vision board, a playlist and other activities I plan on doing during the month.

August Recap
*favorite read: Rule of Wolves by: Leigh Bardugo- I haven’t actually finished this yet, but I am so close, and I absolutely loved it! but honestly, I knew I would. I have much love for the Grishaverse <3
*favorite movie: Haunted Mansion- this is my favorite ride at Disney World (and Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris) so I was very eager to watch this movie, and I had very high expectations. This movie did not disappoint! I absolutely LOVED it!
*best habit: I really worked hard on my weekly resets this last month. Making sure that every time I did them, I did all of the tasks. I think I did really well and am very proud of myself! It seriously helped my weeks be so much more productive and also helped me relax, knowing that everything was done.
*new music: -Casual Kisser by McKenna Grace -bad idea right? by Olivia Rodrigo -Single Soon by Selena Gomez
*new recipe: this little breakfast wrap I found on Pinterest, was honestly so good! Definitely going to become a staple for me.
*other fun things: been loving vanilla coke! all summer I was fully in on the cherry coke train, and I’ve never really gone out of my way to get a vanilla coke, so this newfound love snuck up on me.
september
I am so excited it is finally September! I start a new semester of school in about a week and I’m actually pretty ready to get back into the grind of things after summer. I’m happy to have a new month of productivity, having fun, and trying new things. I’m absolutely obsessed with this month’s vision board. It may be one of my favorites…ever? Ah! I just love how the colors all ended up coming together and I’m glad I was able to encapsulate the exact vibe I was going for. I had the idea for this theme last September and have basically been waiting all year to do it. It also ended up kind of matching the vampire, purple theme of Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts album that comes out this month. And that honestly makes me so happy.
AFFIRMATION: I can do the things I love –this month I want to focus on enjoying the things that fill my soul with no guilt or shame. Living a life full of my favorite things and activities that bring me joy.
FOCUS: Establishing a good night routine — I always have the goal to work on my morning routine, to wake up earlier and be more productive right away. But I know that that truly stems from a good night routine and I’ve never really focused on it before, so that is why it’s my focus for this month.
GOALS: — eat a balanced and delicious breakfast — workout 3 times a week — read 10 pages of a book daily — create and establish a night routine — spend more time outside

“That old September feeling, left over from school days, of summer passing, vacation nearly done, obligations gathering, books and football in the air … Another fall, another turned page: there was something of jubilee in that annual autumnal beginning, as if last year’s mistakes had been wiped clean by summer.” — Wallace Stegner
